Type one polygenic disease is caused by the system destroying the cells within the exocrine gland that create endocrine. This causes polygenic disease by exploiting the body while not enough endocrine to operate commonly. This is known as an response reaction, or response cause as a result of the body is offensive itself.

Type two polygenic disease develops once the body becomes immune to hormone or once the duct gland is unable to provide enough hormone. Exactly why this happens is unknown, although genetics and environmental factors, such as being overweight and inactive, seem to be contributing factors.
